My Unforgettable Event

Many memorable events occur in people's lives. An unforgettable event is one which is extremely wonderful, enjoyable, or unusual that you remember it for a long time. Extremely awful events may also be considered as unforgettable. In this case, it is an enjoyable event.

My family and I went on a vacation to Australia on June 2019 during a school break. We went to the zoo, the library, famous landmarks, cathedrals, museums, and much more while we were there. But it was our trip to Mt Buller that I will never forget.

We had to get up really early on the day because the trip to Mt Buller was rather long and we had so many activities scheduled. 

We finished breakfast about 9 a.m. and began our journey there immediately. We had to stop at a shop first to rent a sled and other equipments. We hadn't arrived by 11 a.m., so we stopped for lunch at a restaurant. We then continued on our journey. 

We arrived at 1 p.m. We just played in the snow and took pictures for the first few minutes. We then rode a snowmobile and went sledding, It was so much fun! We finished at 4 p.m. and decided to go on to our next destination.

Our next stop was in the area of Mt Buller. We arrived around 16.15 and planned to ride a sled. But it wasn't going to be an ordinary sled drawn by reindeers or horses; it was going to be pulled by dogs! When I found out, I was astonished, 10 dogs were able to pull 2 people on a sled! And, the dogs had already known which way to go, so there was not a single person guiding them. 

We got back from our ride at around 17.00 and chose to stay and play with the dogs. I had a wonderful time! The dogs were so friendly and energetic that I got mud all over my clothes.
