EASTER
On Sunday, the 17th of April, we celebrated Easter. Easter is celebrated every year, most people think of it as a day when we go egg hunting and decorate them, but Easter is a very special day for Christians.
As Christians, we think of Easter as a day when Jesus has died on the cross, erased our sins, and risen from death.
Humans were separated from God because of our sins, we had to give offerings to God to speak to Him. But God Himself has taken initiative to send His son to reconcile us to Him, and now, all we have to do is pray to talk to God.
On the Friday of April, Jesus died on the cross and erased our sins. We as Christians usually go to church on this day. We call this day 'Good Friday'
On the 3rd day, which is Sunday, Jesus was nowhere found, his body was missing. But suddenly Jesus came back to Earth and said that He has risen.
The people rejoiced and were so happy. And from then on, we celebrate this day as Easter.
MY EXPERIENCE
On Friday the 15th, I went to church to celebrate 'Good Friday', where we worshipped God and listen to His sermon. Then my family and I went to go shopping.
On Sunday the 17th, I went to church again to celebrate Easter. We also did some fun activities like egg hunting and decorating. And then we went back home and relaxed for the day.
On Monday the 18th, my school held an Easter celebration. There, we listened to some performances, worships, and a lot more.
And that's all for my 2022 Easter celebration.
